Check your Passport expiration date!

Most countries require your US passport to have a minimum of 6-months validity after your intended return date. Please review your expiration date to see if a renewal is needed. The State Department recommends that U.S. citizens renew their passports approximately nine months before the date of expiration.

You are eligible for a passport renewal if ALL of the following are true:

Your passport is currently valid, or has expired within the last five years.

Your passport is in your possession.

Your passport is not damaged.
-
Your passport was issued when you were age 16 or older.

The Resort Restaurant & Bar options include five à la carte restaurants, a buffet, a grill and a café please take note that some have certain dress codes and hours. They range from beach casual up to "casual elegance", so pack accordingly.

flights to costa rica
When traveling to Costa Rica, be sure to book your flights to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport — also known as Guanacaste Airport and Liberia International Airport (LIR) as it is the nearest airport to our resort!
​
Candice will also be able to setup your airport to resort transportation. It is a 90-minute trip from Liberia to the resort and it passes through some mountain roads so if you have a tendency to get nauseous, be sure to pack Dramamine, Ginger chews or any other preferred medication!
